Temples to reopen soon

All religious institutions might open soon after a prolonged lockdown. Government has asked to enforce social distancing but it might not be possible on the ground. The pilgrim flow wont be high this time due to the scare of Covid. People are afraid of traveling since they would then be force to eat on the highway in places where social distancing may not be possible.

Especially those with families and small chidren might find it hard to find a covid compliant travel package even if designed by the best of tour operators.  The restraints on children and senior citizens, the most vulnerable to Covid might continue disturbing family travel for some more time. 

Government might find it hard to meet religious tourism targets in the coming months. It would be best to issue  health cards to all pilgrims with local testing whenever they embark on long term  piligrimages just like currently government insists for Amarnath.  Chardham season has started.
