South Korea Recovery Story

South Korea did not have any lockdowns like the other countries. They closed down schools and reduced travel between borders. South Korea was very aggressive in testing. South Korea tested everyone who is in touch with a positive tested case. It tracks down the persons activity by downloading big data like his online activity, footage cameras and tracking persons mobile. South Korea developed its own testing for the virus before the case grew way back in January.

South Korea  made postings about the affected patients on municipal websites, also travel histories with location of the confirmed patients also being shared without sharing actual identity.

South Korea administers the test for free. It can process nearly 15,000 tests every day. It has tested nearly 250,000 people. South Korea monitors arrivals for two weeks instead of banning inbound travelers. They are allowed inside only after their local contacts are verified.

Prime minister Chung Sye Kyun has offered to share its experience to countries seeking to overcome COVID.
